Our Story

Classic Engineering is an organization founded by a group of university engineering students with the purpose of educating and inspiring the next generation of engineers and manufacturers through the world of classic automobiles and the art of automobile restoration

Our Story

Classic Engineering Foundation is dedicated to the revitalization of the American manufacturing industry by piquing the interest of young Americans in the manufacturing and engineering spaces through the excellent educational and motivational vehicle that is classic car restoration and rebuilding. By partnering with small and medium sized manufacturers to create direct opportunities for applicable skill acquisition and employment we are creating a meaningful impact on the development of the next generation of manufacturers and engineers.

Our mission

Classic Engineering Foundation was started by a group of college students who recognized a gap in the workforce development of today's manufacturing, trades, and engineering education. While great programs exist to get young people involved in higher education, there is no clear path for attaining the hands-on experience necessary to not only perform in real-world work environments but develop the interest and exposure to allow young people the ability to explore a technical career as an employment opportunity. We seek to meet this need by teaching these in-demand, highly applicable intermediate level skills through the engaging opportunity to rebuild and restore classic cars.
